A tired original 1980’s split-level beachfront house was stripped back to bare bones and the exterior re-clad with dark stained, vertical cedar and modern tray roofing.

Interior spaces were opened up and simplified with large retracting glass sliders, flooding light into the interior and connecting the new space directly with the Pauanui beachfront.
