Nestled behind the sand dunes of Whangamata, is a modern version of the quintessential kiwi bach.

Traditional timber joinery, board and batten exterior and corrugated roofing is a nostalgic reference to the original 1960’s bach which sat on this site.

Modern muted interiors with exposed timber trusses, grooved ceilings and oak flooring, is restful and relaxed.

A loft style guest wing above separate garaging was added a few years later to provide luxury accommodation for guests.
