Wentworth Valley | Diana Blake Design, Architect
Stretching long and low across the natural contour of the landscape sits this modern but timeless classic.
A home offering retreat within the native bush and sprawling farmlands of Wentworth Valley. A meandering curved timber boardwalk hugs the house, weaving through gardens of native grasses & young Nikau.
Salvaged brickwork extends from interior to exterior, a break in the sleek dark vertical corrugated Colorsteel cladding. Western facing multi-directional glass siding doors allow afternoon sun to wash the interior, creating a seamless flow between the open plan living and the expansive outdoor entertainment area.
Interior finishes include steel and timber custom welded barn doors, repurposed timber planking, vintage light fittings and completed with a 1954 Triumph Thunderbird.
