Kaukapakapa | Diana Blake Design, Architect

Two generations - one dream.

Sitting across a gently sloping rural site overlooking the meandering Kaukapakapa River, three separate wings converge into the home’s central living core. A place of coming together for a communal meal and family entertaining.

Each of the two generations that share the home have their own seperate wings, with private sleeping and bathroom quarters and quiet sitting areas for retreating to.

A robust exterior of honed concrete blocks and grooved vertical plywood, opens to a restful interior of ply ceilings and polished concrete floors.
